With an AK47 slung over one shoulder with the VTAC sling the chest rig keeps the magazines, knife and pistol out of the way

The Eagle / SKD Universal chest rig has pouches for four (4) pistol magazines. The pistol magazines can be used with the flaps down, protecting and retaining them. Or the flap can be folded back into the rifle magazine pouches so they are pinned out of the way and the pistol magazines are easy to access. The rifle magazine pouches on the universal chest rig are large enough to hold most modern pistols. We ran this match with a S&W M&P 45 in dark earth which fit well as well as it's magazines

The VTAC padded sling on the AK47 worked well with the padded shoulder straps of the chest rig

The Benchmade 155 SBK knife will be placed under the inside half of the surplus pouch.
